“Choose the Low Road” Dream – A Word by Laurie Leiding
Laurie Leiding View Bio laurieleiding.org I found myself standing on what seemed like a mountain top. I was heading to a new place and had to choose which road I would take. To my right I could see a road that would continue ascending up and around this mountain. To the left was another road that would go down into the place where I was to go. This road was made of a wooden structure. Like perhaps the framework of a new building that was being constructed. I could see and sense the few others that had gone this road before. Two choices were set before me and now I needed to choose which one to take. Â However, as I continued to draw my eyes closer to this low road, I could see that it had a brush of white snow and ice on it. Knowing that even though this road was shorter it would be more of a risk to take. I decided to take this way and as soon as the vehicle that I was driving started to descend on it, I found in my hands a large red shovel. The blade on this would be used to push and clear away the snow and ice as I continued down this steep, risky and unknown road set before me.
