The Lord gave me a word about our present condition in this country. I believe this will help some people today. I know it helped me!
On my face just now, the Lord reminded me of Jesus saying, if I don’t go the Comforter cannot come (see John 16:7). Jesus had to DIE for us to receive the Holy Spirit! This made me think of how the disciples had to go through days of emotional pain and turmoil, fear – even fear of death. They thought it was all over, but in the end, Jesus came back alive, and gave them (us) the gift of the Holy Spirit! The power indued to them allowed them to go on to even greater things, proclaiming a LIVING Savior. They would not have been able to do that without having first gone through the pain.
Jesus said, it’s like a woman giving birth – it’s agony, but then the baby comes. She forgets all about the pain and all she knows is joy (see John 16:21). Importantly – she would not have been able to have the joy of the baby without first going through the pain of the birthing process.
He said that this is like that.
In an interesting confirmation, as a type of parable, He showed me a scene from the original cartoon Lion King, where Simba’s father fell into the canyon. He died, trampled by the herd. The enemy blamed the young lion, but the spirit of the father came to remind him of who he was. Simba then became the next great king. Again, this could not have happened without the pain.
The Lord said,
“Peace be still. Don’t worry about all that is going on. My hand is in it, My hand is on it. Just sit back and watch as it unfolds. Have I ever not been in control? Watch as the next great king is birthed through this pain.”
So, family – understand this: we must go through the pain in order to see the fulfillment of God’s will for our country. We must continue doing whatever He has given us to do during this time. Rest assured, in the end, we will see His plan, and rejoice!
