There is a battle over truth right now. There are some wandering in great confusion as the enemy has unleashed his demonic forces of deception. Many are asking, “What is truth? How can we know what is true?” In the past few weeks, I keep seeing a vision of the sword of the Spirit, which represents His WORD and His TRUTH, coming in a powerful way. Jesus, our Mighty Savior, is revealing Himself once again as TRUTH. He is coming to rightly divide His TRUTH in the hearts and minds of His people so that we are walking in greater alignment with Him.
There has been a cloaking, masquerading, lying spirit at work in the minds of people who have given themselves over to compromise which eventually births fully into deception. Those caught in this web of compromise and deception have been bound and blinded. But, there is no one who is beyond God’s redemption. The Spirit of God is setting people free! His word in John 8:32 says, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” Yes, TRUTH is a person, and He is coming to set the captives free. There is no chain strong enough, no system of deception strong enough that would keep Him from breaking through to bring freedom to those who have been bound.
As His Spirit of Truth is released throughout the earth, many will fall on their faces in repentance, and as they do the blinders will be removed from their eyes. Many will have Isaiah 6 encounters with the Lord and cry out as Isaiah did in Isa. 6:5-7, “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”
We know that 2020 has been called the “year of the mouth” and the “year to decree”. For many believers, it has been a time of repentance and cleansing of our lips, so that we can step with purity into our roles as His ROYAL PRIESTHOOD. We are in an extremely significant window of time where we can choose to use our mouths to advance the kingdom, or we can use them to tear it down. It is time to speak LIFE, TRUTH, and the DECLARATIONS OF HEAVEN with our mouths, releasing them into the atmosphere. We have this prophetic promise concerning His words:
“As the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.(Isa. 55:10-11)
His words will NEVER return to Him void! We must take hold of this promise and begin to believe and speak His word with power and true conviction of the Holy Spirit.
I declare even now, DAMASCUS ROAD ENCOUNTERS for those enslaved by the deceiving and mind-binding spirits. Just as Saul encountered Jesus while on his way to take more believers as prisoners, God is coming to radically encounter many who are considered wicked and beyond hope. Encounters with TRUTH are going to cause the scales to come off of eyes, and they will see the glorious One. Saul became Paul, the most well known apostle of Jesus Christ, all because He had an encounter with Jesus. Church, it is time to release the powerful words of Heaven into the atmosphere, believing in faith that they will accomplish the purposes of God. Declare with me POWERFUL IDENTITY TRANSFORMATIONS for many in the coming days as God pours out His Spirit on all flesh.
Advancing in Truth
In the meantime, how do we as believers position our hearts and minds in this intense season? Recently, I spent some time seeking the Lord over this and here is what I hear Him saying:
“Immersion in the truth and the truth of My word is the antidote for falsehood and the evil lying spirits. As you behold TRUTH, then you become a reflection of that TRUTH. Your very countenance will reflect where you have spent your time. From which well are your drinking? I have living water available for you to drink that will satisfy and bring discernment, fortifying, and refreshing even in the midst of your desert.
You are to DWELL in My secret place. DWELL is to remain or take up residence. When you dwell, you don’t move to another place. When you truly learn to DWELL you will then know how to REST. I have a place of REST for you.
My TRUTH and My WORD is a safe place for you. Do not fear My double edged sword, but welcome it’s faithful work in your life. For My WORDS are coming to cut away those things that would harm you, and that would seek to pull you into deception. I am dividing between soul and spirit and going into the deepest parts of your being.
It is time to immerse yourself in My TRUTH. Immerse yourself in ME. Refuse to meet the gaze of evil, but instead lock eyes with ME. It is here you will know the depths of freedom, peace, and life that I have reserved and intended for you.
My word in you is LIVING and ACTIVE. Do not underestimate the power of My word in you. My word will not return to me void! It is impossible! My words are spoken with the very breath of My being behind them. The wind of My mouth blows and hovers over My living and active words to perform them.”
The Heart of the Father
The disciple John wrote these words to Gaius, one of his disciples: “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” (3 John 4) I believe these words reflect the heart of the Father over His Church in this hour. We know that His TRUTH brings life and freedom that cannot be acquired any other way. It is His great delight when His children are walking in TRUTH. As He pours out His Spirit on all mankind, may His TRUTH be the plumb line that resets the hearts and minds of the masses to see Him for who He is, the Spoken WORD of Heaven, the Majestic Glorious One, full of GRACE and TRUTH.
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14
