Prayer Alert: The Season of the Militias
A Word by Vince Viozzi
For several weeks now I have been hearing repetitively in my spirit,
“The season of the Militias is upon us!”
This is not an easy word to put out there. In fact, I have felt like Jeremiah the prophet in several ways. First of all, there is:
Jeremiah 20:8-10 (NKJV) 8 For when I spoke, I cried out;
I shouted, “Violence and plunder!” Because the word of the Lord was made to me
A reproach and a derision daily. 9 Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not.
10 For I heard many mocking: “Fear on every side!”… All my acquaintances watched for my stumbling”
And the Lord’s commissioning to Jeremiah:
Jeremiah 1:9-10 (NKJV) 9 …“Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,
To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down,
To build and to plant.” (more explanation below)
I have been hearing this and it hasn’t gone away. I do not desire to this to happen, nor do I take joy in having to proclaim it. It even saddens my heart! However, the words have been burning within me. I believe we need to pray for Divine Intervention and for the safety and protection of those who are willing to take this stand for our great nation!
So, I am sending this out as a “Prayer Alert” because, as with all prophesy, the word reveals possibility and potential. That means that this is not set in stone. I truly hope that this doesn’t come about!
The line of defense then between the overthrow of authority in the US is the Constitutional provision for the establishment of Militias. The US Constitution’s 2nd Amendment states that:
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”
Allow me to make this clear. I am not a doomsday Prophet! I do not believe that God is finished with the United States and I believe that there will be an extended time of freedom for this country. I believe it will be granted to allow God’s people to further the sharing of the gospel in order to bring about a great harvest of souls before the end of this age!
The Anointing of the Founding Fathers
The founding fathers of this great country were no doubt under a divine anointing even during the Revolutionary War to fight for our freedoms. I have been sensing that this Season of the Militias is like the dawn of the morning. It is just on the horizon. And in front of it is a releasing of the same anointing that rested upon our founding fathers to be able to combat the attacks against freedom even if it is necessary to take up arms.
As The Lord stated to Jeremiah in the verses above, sometimes it is necessary “to root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down” before the planting and rebuilding can be done.
The prophet Rick Joyner has stated that he believes we are already in another civil war. I believe the destiny of this nation is at stake. We are not in the middle of a small temper tantrum. We are at war! A spiritual war? Most definitely! Yes, there are principalities and powers that need to be dealt with in the spirit by the Ecclesia. It may also become necessary for a physical interaction to take place.
Hardening Pharaoh’s Heart
Remember Pharaoh’s heart and his end at the crossing of the Red Sea? As I have watched recently some Supreme Court decisions where conservative judges voted contrary to what they should have, I was questioning God, “What is happening here?” I felt Him say to me, “I am hardening Pharaoh’s heart!” God knew that Pharaoh wouldn’t repent so he used him by hardening his heart further in order to bring about His divine plan with His nation; at that time the Jewish people. This was a difficult thing to hear and saddens me further. However, I sense that there are those whose hearts are filled with demonic desires and are not willing to repent. This is a war of control and power and whoever winds up winning will determine the destiny of this nation!
Matthew 11:12 (NKJV) 2 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
The Baptism of Fire & the Road to Emmaus
I wrote in my last communication that I felt we are in a “John the Baptist season.” I believe that season ushered in a baptism of fire!
Matthew 3:11-12 (NKJV) 11 … He who is coming after me is mightier than I… He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
When Pentecost 2020 came many were praying for God to send forth His Spirit and were looking for something like what had happened in past moves of God. I kept sensing that God was going to send us an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, but that it was going to be different than what others thought was coming. I believe it came as a Baptism of Fire and a threshing floor purging! I feel that many are like those on the road to Emmaus when the Lord appeared to them, but they didn’t recognize Him! (See Luke 24:13-35). They had another idea as to what Jesus was going to do when He came.
They were looking for a different expression of Jesus and a different outcome. So, they did not recognize who He really was and what He was doing at that time. The same thing happened to Mary at the tomb after His resurrection. He appeared to her and she didn’t recognize Him. In both cases they needed their spiritual eyes opened to see what His current plan really was and not what they had assumed it to be.
Speaking of the coming of the Holy Spirit, Jesus told His disciples this:
John 16:8-11 (NKJV) 8 And when He has come, He will convict the world… 9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; 11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
Much of the church is in the same condition today as those on that road to Emmaus. We are unaware of what is happening and of the stakes that are involved. We are like the disciples sleeping when they should have been praying so that they wouldn’t be taken by surprise! The stakes are very high right now! The destiny of a nation is weighing in the balance and it is time for the Ecclesia to rise up and take its place in the earth! (See Matthew 16:18-19)
The New Era is About the Kingdom of God
A New Era is upon us and my heart has been searching for what this means to us as believers. I sense that we are at the end of the last days. That doesn’t mean that Jesus is returning tomorrow. However, He is returning, and He is setting the stage for His return! He is going to set up His Kingdom on this earth!
This New Era is about Jesus’ Kingdom! He is portrayed in the book of revelation as a conqueror. (See Rev. 6:1-2 & Ps. 2) He is after a Kingdom and He is dealing with nations right now! Hence the shaking of nations!
Hebrews 12:28-29 (NKJV) 28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
The “Fire Baptizer” has shown up on the scene and He is “Awakening” His people to see reality and not facades! What are our motives? Are we about building His Kingdom? Why do we want a great harvest of souls? Do we want a great harvest of souls so we can fill the tables at the wedding feast of the Great Lamb and complete the bride of Christ? The current shaking is for our own eyes to be opened and to see reality of what is actually going on in us and around us!
