A few nights ago I had a dream…

I was in a hospital because my heart was failing and I needed a heart transplant.

As I walked the hallway for my surgery I felt a sadness in knowing that having a transplant meant someone had to die. I was torn inside- happy that I get to live, but sad that someone had to die.

As I walked down the hall, a nurse pushed a man on a gurney past me. Instinctively knew this was the man who was giving me his heart.

The next scene is me standing in a room with a new heart! I wanted to thank this man who gave me a new lease of life. Much to my surprise, he walked into the room! He was very much alive, and I couldn’t make sense of it.

He walked right up to me and fully embraced me. I hugged him back while saying thank you. The way he held me was like he would never let me go.

As we were in this embrace, another man to the side walked towards us and joined in the embrace. He was much taller, and when he wrapped his arms around us he completely covered us.

It’s not hard to know what this dream is about, and although I know it was a prophetic promise for me, I’m sharing as I felt the Lord say to me that this is a prophetic promise for others too.

When I woke I heard the Lord say: “I AM GIVING YOU A NEW HEART- I AM GIVING YOU A HEART TRANSPLANT!”

Jesus gave His life so that we could experience the renewal of his life-giving presence. But he is not giving us any old heart, it is his very own!

And as it beats in our chests, may we feel what he feels, love what he loves, living a life of total fullness. Our lives intertwined, a coming together into oneness with Christ.

I believe the other man was God the father, totally enveloping and covering us – we are under the shadow of the most high!

So friends, I want to encourage you…

If you feel the last season drained the life out of you, if you feel like you’re having “heart failure”, do not despair- the next season is all about receiving a new heart. There is fresh fire coming to you. I declare strength, life and vitality over you today!
