Prophetic Dream: Jesus In The War Room – A word by Roma Waterman

A few years ago I had a dream. I was in an ancient town square where there had been a war. There were dark grey cobblestone walkways and walls.

The square had recently been bombed, and there was rubble everywhere. As I roamed the empty streets, every now and then I would see soldiers cleaning up therubble.

Eventually, I came to a small room in one of the buildings and I entered. It was a makeshift war strategy room. There was a small table and about six soldiers around it. On the table was a big map with toy soldiers on it. These were the generals and leaders discussing further strategy to win the war. They were moving the pieces around over the map, talking about what was coming next.

In the middle of the group I see Jesus standing amongst them. He’s dressed in white. They were huddled around him showing Him their ideas for the next strike. But He looks angry. As they share their ideas, He begins to shake His head and say: “No! This is not how I taught you, this is not how you will win the war – this is not it!”

Then He says, “This is how you win the war”, and with his hands He pushes everything off the table, until everything falls to the ground. Underneath the map and toy soldiers, on that bare table, written in the dust are the words: “JOHN 3:16”. Then I woke up.

This dream had a big impact on me, and in this season the Lord has been highlighting the dream again to me. Love wins the war. But love isn’t weak or pretty. Supernatural love means wearing army boots and being strong in the plans and the purposes of the King. It would be easy to fight out of anger of frustration, but what we need is a revelation of His divine love to be at the centre of How we interact with the world in this hour. The only way we will have that is we need to go to the war room and hear what He has to say. It should always be motivated by His love for the world

I believe with all my heart: if we take the time, He will reveal the hidden plans of the enemy and will give us exact steps for each day. So let’s take the time to sit and listen to His voice!

Pray this with me: “Father I enter the war room to hear your commands. Show me your plans for how to win this war. Give me your supernatural love for the earth, so that I have your perspective. Then show me how and what to pray and do for my specific situation today. Amen”.
