Beloved, are you tired after a long period of contending with God in prayer? If so, it’s time to kick back and commune with the Lord in REST and stillness. Read on for more of this comforting prophetic word for May 2022!
I heard the Lord say:
“I am the Spirit of prophecy, the Word made flesh, and I am come to tell you what to expect.
The month of May will be tumultuous on the outside for the world, but for you it will be a month of rest. It is time to implement the plans you have long wanted to make for your own rest. It is time to corner yourself and force yourself to pay attention to the little things that matter more deeply than the things that appear big.
It is okay to paint yourself into a corner when it comes to rest.
It is all right, literally–wholly and completely right–to defy expectations and what others think of you, so you can rest. You need boundaries in this area even against yourself and your own tendencies to work, strive, and perform.
I need you to come aside and rest awhile in May, for the contending and pushing of this last season has been too much for you to continue at this rate. It is good for a season and I ordained it, but now the baby is birthed and you need to rest.
You can have whatever you want in My Kingdom, but not always in the time you want it.
Sometimes I take My sweet time for My own reasons, but that doesn’t mean you should give up. It simply means you need to strain to hear My voice about a matter. Hearing My voice is not hard, but in these times when your timing is not My timing, you need to exercise yourself toward godliness and focus your ears to hear attentively, tuning out all other voices.
In this time, I am speaking about rest and relaxation. You have done well, My child, to birth what I have given you to birth. But now it is no longer a birthing time; it is a growing time–and growth happens best in a place of rest.
Your mind has been racing and you have found it hard to sit down and focus.
This is because the stress has been too much for you, as you have not rested properly during the birthing season. You rested some, yes, but not enough; therefore, your stress level overwhelmed you at times. You will do better at this in the future; resting takes practice.
Over the next month, I want you to receive from Me.
This is best done in the quiet hours; in communing with Me in nature; and in intimate time with Me in prayer and the study of My Word. I am with you always, but I love those times when I receive your undivided attention. It is during those times when I can best download into you all My plans and all My goodness toward you.
I have good things for you that surpass even your imagination.
You have imagined some wonderful things, but I can do better than the things you have imagined–and I will. Believe Me for greater, and speak My Word about those things that are not as if they already were. You will see the greater works I saved for you to do come forth quickly, and all while you are in a place of rest.
I love you, My child. I will never leave you nor forsake you. I am with you always, even to the end of the world.

Respond to this prophetic word for May 2022 in prayer:
“Dear Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, and precious Holy Spirit,
I love You. Abba Father, thank You for sending Jesus both to die for my sins and to dwell within me and speak to me. Thank You for Your precious Holy Spirit, also, who lives in my heart. And thank You for this mighty word of comfort and reassurance that You have given me today.
Father, I love You. Please help me to obey You. Help me to obey this Word You have sent me through Your Son Jesus and Your precious Holy Spirit today. Please help me to rest, and to implement the controls and boundaries I need in order to make myself rest. Please heal me of racing thoughts and help me to calm down, slow down, rest, and focus on You.
Lord Jesus, I believe You for the greater works You created for me before the foundation of the world.
Please open doors for me that no one can shut and shut doors no one can open. Please work in me both to will and to do for Your good pleasure. Please manifest these greater works through me and for me–everything that You made for me to do. Surprise me, Father, and bless me indeed, I pray in Jesus’ name.
Thank You, Abba Father. I dedicate this month of May to You, and I pray You would help me to rest and receive from You in all things.
Thank You, Lord Jesus. Thank You, precious Holy Spirit. Thank You, Heavenly Father. It’s in Jesus’ mighty and precious name I pray. Amen.”
