Prophetic Word: It Is Time To Eat Cake! – A word by Roma Waterman

Dear friend, I was up thinking about you in the middle of the night. Yep 🙂
Last year as we were coming to a close of our HeartSong Prophetic Alliance school year, the Lord gave me this word for our students.
During the night, I felt the Lord ask me to release it now as a word for all of you. So here it is. (And for those of you currently in our online school, pay attention because this is for you too!)
I pray it’s a blessing to you – time to EAT CAKE!
I saw you being filled up with four different colors that represented the four seasons.
Your heart – Red
Your Voice – Blue
Your Work – Yellow
Your world – Green
Stacked one on top of the other.
And as those colors were stacked one on top of the other, it all of a sudden looked like a multi-colored cake. And it made me think of cakes that can look the same on the outside. They can be covered in chocolate, but it’s only when you cut into the cake and pull it out that you can see the brilliance, the creativity, and the time that was spent to make the four different layers in the beauty of the cake.
And I hear the Lord say over you today, “You might look the same to people on the outside, but I have created this year a rainbow within you that needs to be digested and consumed by the people that are around you. So now, just as you have partaken, it is time for you to be laid out on the table.”
And I hear the Lord say, “But the way that you release this, it is going to require a cutting. It’s going to have to require you to go deep. It may even feel painful at times because for the decadence of the cake to be consumed, there needs to be a cutting, and then the cook pulls it off the plate”, but the Lord says “that if you can withstand the cuttings of this world the pressures of this world, I, the MasterChef, will draw you out so that you are ready to be consumed by the hungry. For as you are being consumed by the glory, so you will pour out the glory so that others can indulge in it as well.”
And I sense a warning that this is not a season to pull back. This was not a year for you to learn and grow just for yourself, but now is the season to give all. It’s time to pour yourself out.
Just like a cake that sits pretty after a while, when it is not consumed, it begins to go moldy; it begins to no longer be palatable. Eventually, it can no longer be eaten without it causing stomach pain or sickness in others. You are fresh and ready for degustation!
And the Lord says, “I am creating a moment in time where as I lay you on the table, you must be ready to be poured out. You must be ready- do not pass by your use-by date – the time is now!”
And I hear the Lord say, “This is not meant to be overwhelming. This is what it looks like to be a partaker of the kingdom. And know this – the table has already been laid out. So you are not out of time or phase; you are ready for the table that has already been laid.”
I then saw a beautiful tea party with linen cloth’s beautiful tableware glasses that are made of crystal. But it is YOU; you are the main event….YOU are the food that is ready for people to eat.
And the Lord says again, “You will not be out of context, so do not think that this is something that you must do on your own for the table has been set, the table has been laid now it is time for you to be given out to others.”

“He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.”
2 Peter 1:5-11 MSG
“So don’t lose a minute in building on what you’ve been given, complementing your basic faith with good character, spiritual understanding, alert discipline, passionate patience, reverent wonder, warm friendliness, and generous love, each dimension fitting into and developing the others.”
With these qualities active and growing in your lives, no grass will grow under your feet; no day will pass without its reward as you mature in your experience of our Master Jesus. Without these qualities, you can’t see what’s right before you, oblivious that your old sinful life has been wiped off the books.
So, friends, confirm God’s invitation to you, his choice of you. Don’t put it off; do it now. Do this, and you’ll have your life on a firm footing, the streets paved and the way wide open into the eternal kingdom of our Master and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Let’s do this – as we step into a new Jewish year (Rosh Hashanah) – your time is now!
