Heads Up to Pray

I wrote the following prophetic word last week before the President and First Lady contracted the coronavirus.

 

As you will read in this prophetic word, I had a heads up from the Lord and prior to any of this happening, I heard the Lord say on Yom Kippur, September 28, to raise up an army to pray for what is coming in October.

 

Four days later COVID-19 hit the White House.

 

Lord, we pray for President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and the entire White House staff. We ask for divine healing and full recovery.

 

Prophetic Word for October

“Arise, cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches; pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord.” Lamentations 2:19 NKJV

 

There is an urgent need for us all to rise up and pray from now through the end of the year. Particularly October and November is an important time to call out to the Lord to heal our land.

 

Whether you are an intercessor or not, the Lord is calling you to pray in any way you can. This is not to avoid a disaster or something bad coming. It is specifically to change the negative spirit that has been released in 2020 by the enemy.

 

We need to pray that the Lord will rise up against the attacks we are seeing that are keeping us from getting together. It is also negatively affecting the economy and draining critical resources.

 

3-cord attack of fear, sickness and violence

There is a 3-cord attack operating through the demonic spirits of fear, sickness and violence.

 

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV

 

The spirit of fear is ruling in the hearts of people. This is not an emotional condition. It is a demonic attack to try to keep us from moving in God’s love and power to make sound decisions.

 

We also have sickness and death hitting the world through the pandemic.

 

And in the midst of it, there has been a release of violence in the streets. This is not from a group or leaders. It is driven by a higher-level demonic force that is influencing people.

 

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper.” Isaiah 54:17 NKJV

 

The Lord is now releasing plans fromHeaven on how we can stop these attacks against us.

 

Moving from protest to praise

God is calling people everywhere to unite in prayer. There is a critical need to change the atmosphere from protest to praise.

 

Although many of the protests happening today might be for worthy causes, the Lord is calling us to change things in the spiritual realm. We need to break off the spirits of violence and fear and release a new sound that will change the streets.

 

The violence and craziness we are seeing are not coming from people but is being driven by demonic forces. It is important tounderstand that this is not the fault of people or groups.

 

It is important to not get angry with those you do not agree with!

 

Agree with this decree

Bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure. Psalm 7:9 NIV

 

Lord, we ask that you intervene with the unrest in our streets. We decree Psalm 7:9 and ask that you put an end to the violence and set us free! We bind the spirits of fear, sickness and violence and break the 3-cord attack against us, in Jesus’ Name.

 

Raising up the watchers

I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint. Habakkuk 2:1 NIV

 

I get up every day around 5:00 a.m., and I stand at my watch to pray. This means that I lay everything down in my own heart and get the heart and mind of the Lord on what to pray for each day.

 

God is raising up people with the watchmen style of prayer.

 

“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.” Ezekiel 3:17 NIV

 

How to shift the atmosphere

The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:7–8 NIV

 

We need to release the opposite spirit to change things.

 

Instead of fear, we need to declare and realize faith and trust in the Lord.

 

Instead of sickness, we need to declare total healing.

 

Instead of violence, we need to step away from arguments and disagreements and release peace, peace, peace to the streets.

 

Praise is the key

 

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.
Acts 16:25–26 NIV

 

We need to start in our own hearts and ask the Lord if there is anything that needs changed. Staying in an attitude of gratitude will help.

 

When you find yourself wanting to complain or get angry, thenchange that to blessing and thanking God.

 

Consider singing and worshiping the Lord everywhere you go. Gather safely for outside worship and singing. (This does not need to be organized.) Take prayer and praise walks in your neighborhood or in the city.

 

As we pray and lift up the Name of the Lord, we will see things shake open!
