“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” | Galatians 5:1

I hear the Lord saying today, “Protect your freedom and your peace. Do not go back to what I have already delivered you from.”

Many have sensed the breakthrough of this new year and season already beginning to gain momentum, however, recently there has been a war on your peace and the freedom that is already yours. What you are feeling is simply a confirmation that you are advancing and taking ground. Hold your peace, beloved! Do not give in to the pressure that others are trying to put on you, for this is a distraction. God is calling us to diligently and proactively guard both the freedom and peace that we have been given.

Let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no (Matthew 5:37). Often, people pleasing and the ‘fear of man’ are tactics used by the enemy to rob us of our peace; yet it is written in the Word of God that we “owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law” (Romans 13:8). Healthy boundaries are not only necessary, but vital in this pivotal season that many have entered into. Many may misunderstand your heart, but your Heavenly Father never will.

I want to encourage you to pay no attention to the giants that may be in your land, but to have the spiritual eyesight of Joshua and Caleb; be encouraged today that there are more for you than against you.

I speak fresh courage over you today, and I silence the voice of the enemy that would seek to intimidate and overwhelm you. Go forward, go forward; do not look back, for your God is on your side! He is mighty in your midst. The Lord surrounds you with songs of deliverance, and your victory is assured!

The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing (Zephaniah 3:17).
