“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 NIV
As I was seeking the Lord for a fresh word, I heard Him saying, “come to me all you who are weary and I will give you rest. Cease from your striving and simply abide in Me. Truly, My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
“Many have been exhausted and in a constant state of fight or flight mode due to warfare and promotion. However, this is not what I desire for you. My desire is for you to rest in Me. As it is written in my word, in quietness and rest is your salvation (Isaiah 30:15).”
“I am calling you to simply abide. Trust me with it all. Leave outcomes in My hands and refuse to take back what you have already committed to me, for I am the God who fights your battles and I delight in doing exceedingly and abundantly more than you could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20-21).”
