It’s a new and fresh time in the spirit! We just celebrated Rosh Hashanah and have now stepped into our new year, 5781. Things are brand new! The Lord spoke to me from John 14:12, “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”
God is giving you a new assignment and a new mantle for the new year! He is asking you to step out and walk into the places that He is calling you. You need to remember that Jesus has ascended, and because of His ascension you will do even greater works then He did! Take time to develop and stretch your personal relationship with Him today. Ask the Lord to increase your faith. Allow Him to position you to see Him work miracles, signs and wonders around you.
When we stay seated with Christ in heavenly places and speak the Word out loud, the glory of the Lord will come to perform His Word. Do you know that angels come to perform His Word too?
Understand that you need to get beyond the resurrected life of only believing you are overcomer, you are more than that! You are an overcomer and you are seated with Christ because He ascended so have you in Him. Yes, it’s an important truth, that sin, death and the grave have been overcome, but we need to change our thinking, we need to LIVE ABOVE in the place of greater glory. Now is the time to live in His ascension and be seated with Christ in heavenly places. Purpose in your heart to walk totally in faith.
It is very important to stay in the Word and get strengthened. This year, if you will let Him, God will position you to rule in more areas and give you dominion. Remember, dominion is taken by faith. God is going to stretch you. He is going to ask you to do some things that you have not yet done. I feel the fire burning under my feet. God is saying, “I’m causing my people to step into destiny, step into revival fire. I need them to get out there and really step into those places of faith because I’m going to join them in the work I’ve called them to.” See, God has called you to a work, but He’s not going to leave you to it alone; He’s going to join you! He is standing behind you as your rear guard. He is pushing you into the places He wants to invade. You are His hands and feet.
Take time out through the Day of Atonement which is September 28 into the Feast of Tabernacles which is October 2-9, to continue to prepare your heart. Bless the Lord in praying, fasting and giving. Yom Kippur, is the Day of Atonement, where we remember that Jesus shed His blood as our High Priest and sprinkled it on the mercy seat. This is a time of reflection. It is a time of thinking about the things that need to be changed in your life. What kind of strength do you need to have? What kind of the belief in the Word do you need to develop in order to really step into the fullness of the assignment God has for you? Lift your heart to the Lord as He wants to share who He is with you in this season.
