The Bride in Travail

When a woman is about to deliver a child, there is great pain. The attention of her husband, the nurses and staff are centered around this process of birthing. The mother is emotionally, physically and psychologically pushed to her limit to bear down with all her might and to push this new life from the guarded womb into the arms of her love. The joy of seeing the baby immediately washes away the pain of travail.
The Pregnant Bride
Our nation is in the midst of crisis, but the Lord is declaring, “My Bride is pregnant! “The Bible describes the time of birthing for us, “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. All of these are but the beginning of birth pains.” (Matthew 24:6-8KJV). The nation is in upheaval, but the church must prepare to push and bring forth the life and love of God. I heard the Lord say, “My bride is in labor. My church is pregnant with a new day. She must focus on the new life which is to come.” There is a warring in the womb of the Spirit, much like the two sons of Rebekah. “And the Lord told her, “The sons in your womb will become two nations. From the very beginning, the two nations will be rivals.” (Gen. 25:22 KJV). We must recognize there is an intense war going on between the kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of Light. The kingdom of darkness wishes to destroy, distract and defeat the bride. However, the Lord has graced her to endure! The Lord of Angel-Armies’ plans, purposes and promises have not changed.
Birthing Is Painful
Don’t try to hide the pain. Pain is a part of the birthing process. A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born, she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world.” (John 16:21, KJV) The bride must remember, joy is coming. There is emerging a new warring church, without racial divide, firm in her identity, with the roaring sound of the King!
Travailing Prayer
The word travail in Greek (Strong’s 5604) means a birthing pain, a painful effort; even sorrow. It is figuratively, the pain necessary to open up. We are in a moment, when that which was closed and fixed, even stubborn, is being opened for the way of the Lord. This opening up is a new day. The opening up of a new way is painful. Like Apostle Paul, we travail until Christ be formed in the hearts of man. But, just hold on. Joy is on the way! A woman in labor is not distracted. Her energy and her focus are on this emerging life straining to come forth. Birth pains seem almost unbearable, but the Lord has placed within her an innate grace to deliver. Hear the word of the Lord church, “You can do this. You can endure these days.” God has not lost His power or authority. It’s time to travail in prayer to release heaven into every place of darkness and upheaval. Reformation is being birthed! We are being called to travail in order to prevail! The kingdoms of this world shall become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever. (Rev. 11:15, KJV).
In these pregnant days, remember who you are and whose you are. Exercise and enforce your authority as a believer. Remain focused and don’t let the enemy distract you from your assignment. His righteous SEED cannot die! It’s time to PUSH.
