As I was praying, the Holy Spirit brought to mind a picture of Jesus buried in His tomb. I saw the tomb, I saw the gross darkness inside and the body wrapped in grave clothes. The Lord then took me to the stone that covered the entrance. I watched as the power of God rolled the stone away. All of a sudden, LIGHT burst onto the scene overwhelming the darkness; what had once been dead was now being made alive.
The Lord then reminded me of a verse in John 3:19 talking about Jesus. It says, “This is the VERDICT: Light has come into the world…”
In Jesus name, I prophesy over you that a verdict has been determined from the Father in your favor and that is this: Jesus Christ, the Light, has come into the place darkness dwelled and has overpowered it. The stone has been rolled away! No longer are you wrapped in grave clothes and ashen in appearance. See! Your grave clothes have been removed! The gross darkness has been evicted and Light now occupies the space.
“…Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” (Ephesians 5:14)
I prophesy new sight and vision over you in Jesus name. Let the eyes of your heart be overwhelmed with the light of the love of Christ. You are being recalibrated, refreshed and renewed. The scales have fallen off and you are no longer hindered. Every work of darkness that was sent to keep you in slumber and under a yoke of heaviness has been bound in Jesus name; it is now cut off and rendered powerless by the Blood of the Lamb.
The season has changed. As you lean into Jesus, every barren and desolate place in your heart will begin to blossom and bloom with resurrection life, transforming into a land of springs and pools. The season of mourning has ended, behold the life of Christ springs forth. You once were dead, but have now been made alive and filled with the resurrection power of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Let your mind be renewed now in the knowledge of Christ; let your frame become invigorated with the breath of the Holy Spirit as He comes and fills you. Receive and allow the Holy Spirit to work in you His will and way!
This is the day of the resurrection power of God on display! See with your eyes that today is the day of your deliverance, the day of the salvation of the Lord. Arise and walk forward in Jesus’ resurrection life!
“I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” (Revelation 1:18)
