The Hebrew Year 5781 – The Year of AMAZING CHANGE – A Word by Stephanie McKittrick

We are now officially within the 40 day run up period to Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. The name of Rosh Hashanah can be translated as “first” or “head of the year”. It is also sometimes called “The Feast of Trumpets”. Secondly, Rosh Hashanah is a celebration of creation. We celebrate this Feast Friday 18th September – Sunday 20th September.
God had really laid it on my heart that in this 40 day window to P.U.S.H Pray Until Something Happens. Right now we are in a divine window of time and mercy to prepare ourselves for the new season ahead.
5781 in Strong’s Concordance is “to totter”, “to shake or collapse” or “about to fall”.
Isaiah 54 v 10 – “ For the mountains may collapse and the hills may reel but my gracious love will not depart from you, neither will my covenant of peace totter” says the Lord who has compassion on you. (ISV)
Psalm 46 v 2 – “Therefore we will not fear though the earth change and though the mountains totter into the midst of the sea”.
As I read these scriptures I heard Holy spirit say “This is the Year of AMAZING CHANGE”. He began to speak to my heart and tell me that God is a covenant keeping God and there is about to be a GREAT and effectual change is about to happen on the earth. Holy Spirit lead me to dig further into 5781, specifically looking at the Hebrew letters corresponding with the numbers.
5 = “Hey” means breath, air, spirit, feminity and behold (to make known). He highlighted scripture Matthew 26v 41 “Stay awake and pray, so that you won’t enter into temptation. The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak”.
God is saying, wake up, stay awake, pray, worship, stay close to him and do not fall into temptation, if you have fallen into temptation, repent and move on.
7 = “Zayin” means plowshare, weapon, sword, to aim, to adorn, to cut, to feed, completion. He highlighted scripture Isaiah 2 v 4 “He will settle disputes among the nations and provide arbitration for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives.
God is saying he is going to settle some disputes, some long outstanding battles many have been facing, are about to come to a divine solution. Where there has been conflict between two parties, God is about to speak into those situations and provide His solution.
8 = “Chet” means wall, fence, protect, new beginning, separation, sin, outside. He highlighted scripture Psalm 40 v 3 “I waited patiently on the Lord and he turned to me and heard my cry for help. He brought me up from a desolate pit out of the muddy clay and set my feet upon the rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and they will trust in the Lord”.
God is saying as you come out of the pit, Praise Him. Many people are about to see God’s hand move in your life. God will take away your tale of woe and give you a new song of praise in your heart. Get ready to testify but above all, give Him the GLORY.
1 = Aleph means strength, ox, chief, prince, leader, first. He highlighted scripture Exodus 15 v 2 “The Lord is my strength and my song, he has given me, victory. This is my God and I will praise Him, my father’s God and I will exalt Him”.
God is saying He is your strength and song. He is going to give you the victory, Jesus has already paid the price and you are about to see the manifestation.
The Lord then began to speak to me and gave me this Rhema word:-
“It is time to declare my promises over the earth! Dust off your journals, break out the recordings of Prophetic words from the past. THIS is the year I will CHANGE that which is
around you for I am remembering the covenant I have made. Though the mountains may shakes, great change will come on the earth. You overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. My name will be made GREAT among the nations. You will be AMAZED! This is the Year of AMAZING CHANGE!”
Holy Spirit reminded me of a vision I had 2 years back.
In the spirit, I saw a HUGE vertical pendulum, at the top was a lot of corrupt people, CEO’s, people of influence, court officials, celebrities. Then I looked at the bottom, I saw a lot of God’s people at the bottom. God’s people, a lot were tired and weary but still in faith.
Then in one move I saw the pendulum flip reverse. I saw God’s people that had been faithful, with clean hands and pure heart, move to the top. Suddenly, God’s people were moved into places of influence, promoted, businesses booming, taking control of the economy.
The worldly people that fell to the bottom, some recognized God’s hand moving in this, repented, came into the Kingdom and after a period of discipling and heart healing, they were restored. Others, became so consumed with bitterness, jealousy and rage that they were lost.
Right now, we have a chance to make sure that before God we have clean hands and a pure heart. We have a window of mercy to get right with God before “The Year of AMAZING CHANGE”.
