The King & His Army – A Word by Joe Joe Dawson

Recently, in one of our corporate prayer meetings, the Holy Spirit spoke to me about wanting to release a great deal of prophetic words and revelation to me. After I heard this, I got ready to take notes on anything the Lord might show me. Then I continued to pray and I had a vision.

In this vision, I saw myself on the edge of a huge battlefield where an intense battle was taking place. Then the vision shifted and I was in the battle, engaging in the intense warfare. Then all of a sudden, I felt the presence of the Lord behind me. I turned to see Him and I could see Him as King in all of His splendor and glory. He looked like a warrior! There were many other warriors lined up alongside Him. Then suddenly I saw an angelic host, angels by the thousands, above the King and His army. I knew the King, His army and this angelic host were all ready for battle. They charged onto the battlefield surrounding the entire fight. Then they charged into different areas and fought alongside those that had already been in battle. As the King and His army were dispatched into the warfare, they began to win one battle after another. As soon as they engaged in battle, victory came!

I immediately started praying into this vision as it ended and the Holy Spirit began to speak to me about each little aspect of it. There is always a physical and spiritual aspect to things. Whenever we are actively doing things for the Kingdom of God we are engaging in a spiritual battle. I believe the Lord is calling His people to engage in battle for the Kingdom of God in this season because this is a season of victory. This is a season of breakthrough! However, we must first engage in battle and then the Lord will fight for us. Just like in the vision, the King and His army did not show up on the scene until I began to fight. This is your season to get off the sidelines and into your proper position in God’s army. And for those who have already been fighting for so long, Heaven is fighting with you!

You will see the assistance of the Lord and receive angelic help in this season. You will have the favor and blessing of the Lord overtake you. The Lord has heard your cry. He heard your petitions and has seen your struggle. And now He is coming on the scene! In this vision, as the Lord, His army and the heavenly host came into the battle things instantly shifted. Things are about to turnaround for you. The battles you’ve been fighting are going to suddenly shift and breakthrough will come. Breakthroughs happen when Heaven is released in a situation.

If you have grown discouraged, weary or feel like giving up, I want this word to encourage you. Everything will turnaround. Heaven is fighting with you and for you. Victory is yours! Pray into this vision, seek the Lord for deeper revelation and greater insight into what He is speaking to you about this word. Invite the Lord into each and every battle you’ve been facing and know that He never loses a single battle. He has already won the war! The Lord is a loving Father and a mighty warrior. You are not alone! There is angelic assistance coming to help you and the Spirit of the Lord is going to come upon you in a mighty way to bring you through the battle and into a season of breakthrough and victory. This is your season to fight, this is your season to win and this is a season where you will see the King and His army is on the scene, bringing victory with them!
