Over the last few days as I have been seeking the Lord regarding this whole COVID-19 hysteria He has given me a few things to help guide us at this time.
Towards the end of February and the beginning of March, the Lord kept speaking to me remember John G Lake. Many of us have heard the story, Lake had the bubonic plague in his hand and under a microscope, they saw it dead. With the Lord speaking this to me continuously I decided to do a little bit of research. Here is what I discovered that I had not heard before his hand being under that microscope he was helping by serving the city and those who were in charge were shocked that he was not wearing gloves while touching infected bodies. When he was asked why he wasn’t wearing gloves that is when he took his hand and put it on an open wound of a deceased person and then they looked at the plague under the microscope and found it dead.
We have resurrection life coursing through our veins according to Romans 8:11 and if God is willing to do it for one he is willing to do it for all.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. – Romans 8:11
We must remember is that the prayers of a righteous person will avail much and that we are the Lord’s hands and feet in the earth to conquer sickness and disease.
How Do We Respond
With the amount of fear and hysteria growing exponentially in the earth with toilet paper shortages, now food shortages, and the toll on the economy the earth is groaning for the Manifestation of the sons of God. This is our hour to shine more now than ever!
I began to ask the Lord how do we the church respond in such a situation. This is what he started showing me, in Genesis 3 we see the greatest devastation of humankind, the fall. While Adam and Eve made every attempt to hide God rushed into the garden to find them, He didn’t wait for them He came to them when they were in the most shame and darkness. It was at that moment he delivered them from their guilt and shame by making tunics of animal skin. This, of course, is a foreshadowing of Jesus to come later.
Here is the takeaway, we as the Body of Christ are to go into these darkest places and deliver people from them. To bring them hope, to be a light in the darkness, to show them the way to wholeness and salvation. We know who Peace is and we have the obligation and right now the greatest opportunity to introduce the whole world to who Peace is!
In nearly every human crisis God has rushed into the midst of that situation and raised a people to be beacons of light, delivers, and reflections of His heart!
Very loudly and clear the words Jesus vibrated through my spirit…
You are the light of the world…
You are the salt of the Earth…
Nobody puts a lamp under a basket…
You are a city on a hill to be seen…
My friends this is not the time to hide and cower away!
The world needs HOPE right now and YOU have it!
There is a cry for hope and rescue in these times. God is sending YOU to be the HOPE and LIGHT right now.
This is that moment. The moment that YOU have been waiting for. Your time to shine so brightly. The time to give light to the darkness. Arise. Shine.
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. – Isaiah 60:1-3
In this time, we must take a hold of the peace that surpasses all understanding in the peace He has available to us. May we come into our identity and having the mind of Christ, that gives us a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. – John 14:27
