The Lord has been bringing prophetic insight into the importance of coming to sit at the Lord’s table to receive the Kings daily portion. Our portion in this era is to receive restoration and rest.

It says in Psalm 23:5a “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”

This is a Psalm 23 moment in time where we will not receive the anointing we need to fulfil our mandates without dining at the Lord’s table.

When the Lord asks us to dine it symbolizes communion, food sharing is considered a level of intimacy carried out by lovers and family alike.

The table always represents communication with mankind. Wood prophetic representing humanity. 

We don’t need to bring anything the table is prepared. The Lord doesn’t want us to wait until the time is right or we have a traumatic situation to deal with. We need to dine daily to be able to receive the heavenly grace needed for this present hour. 

It tells us in scripture we can receive daily a portion at the Kings table.  The redemptive story of Mephibosheth is a great example where King David searched him out to show him covenant grace and kindness spoken of in 2 Samuel 9.  Mephibosheth was the crippled grandson of King Saul the son of Jonathan. What is God saying to us today I am inviting you broken, I am inviting you crippled in any area of your life to come to the table. I want to show you my covenanted goodness and love. So, much so He expressed in psalm 23:6 I want these characteristics of God to follow you all the days of your life. This enables us to dwell in the house of the Lord.

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” 

In another place in scripture, it says I will come in and share a meal together as friends. If we open the door.

“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” Revelation 3:20

Listen to the sound in the spirit we are being called into a deeper intimacy with the Godhead. We are being invited to dine at the Lord’s table.
