Victories In The Spirit For Intercessors – A Word by Joel Yount

The past few weeks it has felt as if I have walked into places at just the time when a situation needed prayer. Has this happened to you? While walking outside one day at a local park I passed by an area where people allow their dogs to run free in a special dog park. All of a sudden as I began to walk by a loud argument began to erupt among several dog owners. Apparently one of the dogs was causing problems with the other dogs and some of the dog owners were not happy with the dog’s owner. As this began to happen I just began to come into agreement for peace to surround the dog park. The arguing and shouting seemed to get worse before it got better but by the time I made it around the park again things appeared to be peaceful again.
Intercessors, sometimes it may feel like you have walked by the wrong place at the wrong time but I am here to encourage you today that the Lord knows you have a heart and compassion to pray. Your prayers shift things in the atmosphere and what looks like a dark place God is going to use you to speak into the dark places and watch the atmosphere change for His glory! While at times it may look scary and look like we are walking into danger the enemy is really afraid of you and your words that will come out of your mouth. Intercessors arise and walk confidently in the days ahead. This is your time!
