Visitation from Kenneth Hagin
Not too long ago, the Lord gave me a dream. In the dream, I was walking into a house. As I opened the door, I saw Kenneth Hagin sitting on a couch in a green suit. I immediately fell to my knees and began weeping. He laid hands on me and began praying over me. He said, “He that hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6 KJV). He began to speak nations over me: India, Africa, Germany, and France. I began to weep.
Kenneth Hagin was a forerunner, not only for his generation, but also for this current generation on the earth. There is so much revelation, teaching, and sound doctrine that he brought to the body of Christ.
It was a powerful dream to say the least. I felt so honored that the Lord would have such a general come into my dream and release an impartation on my life! I also had a similar dream like this with William Branham.
Many people do not understand this. They immediately start thinking, why are you talking to dead people? Can you receive anything from those that have passed on?
I thought I would address some of these questions. Let’s look at it from a biblical standpoint.
Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, and was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, belond, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him (Matthew 17:1-5 KJV).
As Jesus was praying with Peter, James, and John, the cloud of glory came. Moses and Elias stepped out of the cloud and began talking to him. Someone could read this and think, isn’t Jesus talking to a couple of dead guys? No, he wasn’t. What happens when a believer goes on to be with the Lord? They join the cloud of witnesses. They are now in heaven, looking down on us and cheering us on to run the race! (Hebrews 12:1)

How do you know if the encounter you experienced is a Godly encounter, or a demonic encounter?
How to know if it is godly: Did you feel the presence of God in the dream? Can you back the encounter up with scripture? Did you feel that the encounter is leading you into more spiritual growth? If you answer yes to all of these, then it was a godly encounter.
How to know if it was a demonic encounter: Did you feel grieved in your spirit after the dream? Did you feel like the dream was trying to instill fear in you? Can you back up what you saw or experienced with scripture?
Not every encounter can be a God-given encounter, and we should be cautious of these things. But at the same time, let’s come to God like little children, expecting good things from Him. The Bible says that every good and perfect gift comes down from the father of lights.
