Why are you so fearful? – A Word by Beth A. Sargent
“I hear the Lord saying… Why are you so fearful? Why are you full of anxiety?
Lean in and hear what’s on My heart today.
I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love and of a sound mind.
Though the world around you may be panicking, though the world around you may be fearful, though the world around you may be full of oppression, I have not called you to be of this world.
I have called you to walk in a place of victory. I have called you to walk in a place of freedom. I have called you to have your roots deeply rooted and grounded in Me. I have called you to be about My Word and in My Word. I am calling you to seek Me for who I am. I am calling you to be focused on Me and not on what the world is focused on.
Remember, you are not of this world. The world feeds off of fear and anxiety but I have called you to feed on My faithfulness. If you feed on what the world is feeding on you will become spiritually starved.
My Word says the root of the righteous cannot be moved. Though the enemy has tried to come at you with everything that he can to take you down and take you out, I declare today that you are walking in victory. You will not be taken out. I have not given you the Spirit of fear but know you are not of this world but you are in Me.
Now more then ever lean into Me, draw closer to Me. I want you so close to Me that no matter what’s going on around you, it will not touch you. You are going to walk in peace. I speak peace over you today!”
II Timothy 1:7 NKJV – “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
