Your Faith Will Cause You to Overcome! – A Word by Aretha Cross

John 5:4, says, “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has over the world — our faith.”
For many, this has been a season of the testing of your faith. The Lord wants you to know that your victory is in your faith in Him. You are born of God, and this means you’re a new creation. The old man is gone and the new man has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). Due to this heavenly transformation, you no longer need to respond or react to your circumstances as you would have done when you were in the flesh (the old carnal man). The Lord had removed the old wineskin and poured new wine into your new wineskin(Matthew 9:17). This is all part of you being born again of God. This means you have the mind of Christ, you see your circumstances through heaven’s lens as you’ve taken your seat with Christ in heavenly places. This means you know, that you know, that you know, (emphasis added) that no matter how defeated you feel, no matter how hopeless the situation looks, no matter how impossible things appear, you will remain confident in the
Lord, knowing you will see His goodness in the land of the living (Psalm 27:4). The Lord wants His sons and daughters to know that their faith is their victory. So, speak faith, think faith, act in faith, and praise the Lord in faith.
Abba Father, told me to tell you, if it’s getting a little more intense, and if the fire feels like it’s getting too close… don’t fear! Welcome the fire, because it won’t burn you. It will only refine you. The Refiner’s fire is fueled by oil which purifies. It’s an oil which consecrates, heals, restores, re-energizes, and re-positions you to come forth as gold. The fire won’t burn you because God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit are in the fire with you.
The Lord is wanting us to stand. And after all is said and done, just stand (Ephesians 6:13). If you feel like you’re at the end of the line, don’t let go! Just, hold on to Jesus, because you’re at the brink of your breakthrough. So, raise a hallelujah and allow your praise to be your weapon, because the Breaker is coming!!!Take heart men and women of God, He’s the God Who sees, and your faith will overcome the world.

“And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;”
