Your The Head Not The Tail – A Word by Peggy Jones

While preparing to minister recently the Lord spoke to my heart and said, “would you just flip the coin.” I looked over at a table close to me and saw a coin that was tails up. The Lord spoke to my heart again and said, “You have been acting like you are the tail, but in reality you are always the head.” Of course the Scripture came to mind, from Deuteronomy 28:13 “The Lord will make you the head and not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top and never at the bottom.” I then received more revelation about this. I had a mindset that needed to be changed. It would involve repentance from being sucked into lies from the enemy. I also needed to receive the grace from God to live in the glorious truth that Jesus made the way for me to always live on the top and never the bottom. To always live in abundance and never in lack. To always prosper in every way. This revelation is not just for me but for all who have given themselves to Jesus.
For some in the Body of Christ, there has been an attack against our mind that is very sneaky. It has happened gradually as we have walked through many trials and tribulations during this season. It has tried to erode our faith and cause us to become unbalanced in how we see ourselves in Christ. The devil always tries to attack us at our core, our standing as children of God. When we know who we are it gives us power, strength and faith. The enemy wants to make us weak and anemic. So it is time to flip the coin and completely embrace the fact that, “we are the head and not the tail.”
The head has faith so it can walk in health, wholeness and hope. The tail is full of fear, dread and doom. When we know we are the head we have the faith to believe for our healing. The Lord showed me that many in the body of Christ have given up on their healing. They would not say they don’t believe it is possible for God to heal them but they have just been waiting a long, long time for the healing to manifest. They may have made inner vows to just live in the substandard condition they find themselves in. If this is you, understand today that you are the head and not the tail. God wants to heal you totally and completely.
When you are the head you are protected so you have the courage to step out into the things of God. You are positioned to be used mightily to further God’s purposes for the world. The head knows that it is loved, so it is free to love others with the love of the Lord. The head knows that it is royalty so it is free to walk in dignity. The head knows that it is a victor, so it does not embrace a victim mentality. Can you see why it is important to flip the coin. You are the head and not the tail.
Allow the Holy Spirit to encourage you today. Open your heart to receive a special grace from the Lord to flip the coin in your mind. God wants to cement the fact inside of you of what your standing is. Even if you have to make declarations several time and say it out loud. “I am the head and not the tail” until the truth sticks. God loves you and longs to empower you because you are important. The Lord wants to use you in this hour! Live with the knowledge that you are always on the top and never on the bottom. As you walk in this truth increase, promotion, health and prosperity will follow you all of your days. AMEN
